What can I say, A marvellous surf session. Caswell was pretty crowded at 7.00pm but the tide was out so we were able to get around the corner towards whiteshell point and out the way. The surf was pushing in at about 2ft and glassy with slightly bigger sets. With the usual mixture of experienced and novice we saw people catching their first decent sized waves through to a few mahoosive re-entries.
Curiously as the tide picked up, so did the swell and the other surfers dimished leaving the SUP surfers with the run of the beach until it got dark. lovely.

Very exciting news the new Naish boards will soon be available on the Gower. Ooooh check out the Naish Hokua http://www.naishsurfing.com/en/boards/hokua_2.html
If its in by next Wednesday you too can give it a blast

Cracking session and something for everyone. we had a small wave in the bay so the gentlemen with completely inappropriate race boards could take the opportunity of trying them out for purposes they weren't designed for! We split up as a group allowing half the group to play in the surf whilst the other group headed off to Pwll Ddu point followed by a pretty gruelling interval training session led by Rich.
Something for everyone and everyone happy.
Once again near beginners  made huge progress in the company of so many paddlers.
